GATEWAY CENTER FABRICATIONS Downtown Greensboro, NC Design and Installation: 2020 - 2021
Upon invitation to collaborate with Forge Greensboro, the Southeast US’s premier makerspace, SCHEMATA | studio worked closely with their deft team of fabricators to create unique concepts for three bars and a reception desk for the newly renovated Gateway Center in Downtown Greensboro. Informed by the industrial nature of the adaptively reused spaces, each fabrication exerts its own identity and emulates the types of interactions that occur in each area.
